Barack Obama wins 🙂

Proposition 8 does too 😦

The American people rise and fall in my eyes, all within a period of 20 minutes. Wow.

They were mislead. By their distant Indian counterparts, it seems. (Read : Religious fanatics)

California has always been divided. While San Francisco and northern CA is hugely liberal, other parts of California are very conservative. This was glaringly obvious in the county wise poll results on Prop 8. I guess Los Angeles and its neighbors need to roll up their sleeves and get their hands and feet dirty in this fight. Prop 8 lost 48 to 52 points (just 4 points toss). That’s what hurts even more.

But then the figures favouring the ban slid from 61% 8 years ago to 52% this year. A silver lining?

    So what’s next, doc?

Next step … go for the full kill .. fight courageously in the national battleground. Of course, the lawsuit against the govt of California is being drawn up even as I type this. More people need to come out in the open and support gay marriage. I’ve been saying this to all media since yesterday .. we cannot let this get us down.
