About the Author
The delimmas and deliberations of a confused gay youngster, who feels lost in a swarm of “normal” heterosexual hoi polloi, are not very unique. I’m 21, not all that young, and take a step today towards finding that small corner on the internet where I can share, honestly, fearlessly, every inkling of thought that races inside my mind, creating enthusiasm, disarray, fermentation or anguish.
Time and again, I shall attempt to resist the revelation of my identity to those who are my closest confidants, and to those who are not, since I shall speak here not exclusively but inclusively of they who belong to the world I live in, or they who are part of my parallel and virtual existence.
I shall document encounters, opinion, meandering thoughts, correspondences and liaisons, to which end even those individuals that I confide in shall be kept in the dark about this web log, since they would be an occasional subject here.
I hope this Log will last. I hope I shall manage to secure enough of my history in here, enough of my life, so that when I have forgotten, I can revisit my past as if it were yesterday.

*Secretly thinking of copying the entire ‘about the author’ and publishing it elsewhere, thus warranting a few ‘the single best about the author write up that I’ve seen’*

Thanks a lot! But no really… I’ve read so many that are far far better… You guys never cease to blandish a person!

I have a feeling you are desi… but where from?
Comment by Dennistm — September 5, 2008 #
Hola!
Yes, I am desi. Live in India; Delhi-born and raised, but hardly like a Delhi-ite.
Studying down south.
Et toi, monsieur?

Aha, then I shall have to visit yours as well!
Which is not a problem as I cannot resist the French. And the Irish. Which are you, I wonder!
Comment by unsungpsalm — October 18, 2008 #
Oh I missed that reply here, actually… Neither of these, I am afraid… a weird mixture of several Eastern European ingredients

Not to my Blogroll, but to the list of websites… Your blog has much too much diverse content to be classified just a blog!

Hi, I just came across your wonderful blog. I was hoping to request your help for a radio interview I’m doing for a station called Radio Netherlands(they air a human rights program in Europe). They want to speak with a gay indian man who was/is married/divorced. Would you know of anyone who might be interested in speaking on this topic and sharing their experience/knowledge? I can be reached at kochhar.piya@gmail.com or at 9910038686

You write so well ! The hold on language and the vocab is awesome
I like the honesty and guts you have ! How I wish we all could be so honest and direct about the things in our mind ! May be I will learn reading your blog posts…
Would be following you
on the blog
Comment by Nu — August 12, 2009 #
Aww, thanks Nu!
It makes things a whole lot easier if you write without your identity attached to it!
Maybe you will gradually open up a bit. I’ve learned that you leave a lot less opportunity for people to judge you, if you judge yourself (if that makes any sense)
Comment by unsungpsalm — August 12, 2009 #
I think I agree with you on the last one
Comment by Nu — August 13, 2009 #
